In earlier days, Mr. Song Shoushun, Chairman and Party Secretary of Sinoma Intl., led a delegation to travel to Saudi Arabia for visiting Saudi Cement Company, and travel to UAE for Fujairah JSW site visit and carrying out inspection for its implementation and safety management.
In Saudi Arabia, the delegation led by Mr. Song Shoushun visited Saudi Cement Company (SCC), had an amicable discussion with SCC Director and CEO Mohammed A. Al-Garni, afterwards, paid a site visit to SCC Hofuf plant. In the meeting, the parties have reflected multiple years’ friendly partnership between Sinoma Intl. and SCC, and conducted an in-depth exchange and discussion regarding the growth of cement and infrastructure market in Saudi as well as GCC nations, energy saving and emission reduction, digitalized production of cement industry, among other technological growth trends. Both parties have expressed that they would further enhance strategic partnership and deepen the collaboration in engineering and technology. During the plant visit, Mr. Song Shoushun had a full idea exchange with the plant manager Mr. Mohammadine El-Baraka regarding optimized production, energy conservation and emission reduction and digitalized upgradation.
In the course of Saudi visit, Mr. Song Shoushun carried out an investigation over the operation of EICO, Sinoma Intl.’ holding subsidiary in Suadi.
In UAE, the delegation led by Mr. Song Shoushun paid a visit to JSW project site, conducted a site inspection on safety video monitoring system, safety facilities, safety prevention and protection, safety management information platform and its application, and was reported by the site project team about safety work, project progress and the application of BIM technology. On the one hand, Mr. Song made affirmative comments on site work, on the other hand, Mr. Song requested the site project team to further strengthen contract management and project execution management, identify project difficulties and figure out solutions in advance. On the foundation of BIM, TCDRI was also requested to give further paly to its merits in engineering, making four elements of safety, quality, progress, cost in service of project implementation. Meanwhile, he highlighted the significance of safety production, and requested the project team to fully conform to various requirements of safety work and work arrangement.
In the course of UAE visit, Mr. Song Shoushun also investigated the progress of diversified business activities as carried out by Sinoma Tianjin unit in UAE, encouraged them to make full resources synergy inside Tianjin unit and to proactively explore localization and diversification growth in GCC nations.
