Pubdate:2013-11-26

On November 23rd 2013, the rotary kiln shell for Ibese 6,000t/d Line 4# was successfully fixed and welded.

Rotary kiln is the core section of whole cement production line. Given the difficulty in on-site construction, the project team put in place a kiln shell lifting and welding plan which was safe and of high quality. Work schedule was safeguarded by the plan. After 5 days-and-nights consecutive efforts, the rotary kiln shell was successfully fixed and welded finally.

On November 17th, Mr. Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Group, paid a special visit to the site. After checking the working program and quality of all major departments, quarry crushing and overland long belt conveyor, he expressed his satisfaction. He also urged the project team to continue their efforts and finish the follow-up works appropriately. Mr. Jiang Wei, executive vice general manager of Sinoma Int. for Line 3# & 4# thanked Mr. Dangote’s visit and expressed the determination of Sinoma Int. to complete the works as per the contract.

For Nigeria Ibese Line 3# & 4#, 85% of civil works for major departments, 71% of steel structure work, 30% of equipment and non-standard parts installation and 5% of electrical installation have been completed. All works are going on smoothly as planned.
